GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

1. PURPOSE

These General Terms and Conditions of Participation (GTCP) define the rules applicable to all events, experiences, and activities offered within the framework of LOLS – Life on Line Sphere · The Cloud, whether they are:

  • cultural, artistic, educational, or experimental,
  • free of charge or paid,
  • physical, digital, or hybrid,
  • accessible on-site, online, or via immersive environments (including Minecraft Java).

These GTCP apply to any person participating in an event, regardless of the form of participation.


2. ORGANIZATION

Events are organized by ECOSYSTEM VLG World, a Swiss association, either independently or in collaboration with artistic, cultural, institutional, or technical partners.

Depending on the event, certain services may be provided by third-party partners (venues, platforms, technical service providers).


3. ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS

Any participation implies:

  • prior awareness of these GTCP,
  • full and unconditional acceptance thereof,
  • materialized by explicit validation (checkbox) during registration, reservation, or access.

In the absence of acceptance, access to the event or platform will be refused.


4. NATURE OF EVENTS

Events may include, without limitation:

  • concerts, shows, performances,
  • live or delayed broadcasts,
  • immersive and interactive experiences,
  • educational or cultural activities,
  • community-based or experimental events.

Some events may be:

  • entirely free of charge,
  • entirely paid,
  • or mixed (free access with paid options).

5. ACCESS CONDITIONS

5.1 On-site access

  • Access subject to reservation or ticketing.
  • Personal tickets, non-transferable unless otherwise stated.
  • Limited capacity depending on the venue.
  • Mandatory compliance with the rules of the hosting site.

5.2 Online access and digital platforms

  • Access subject to specific technical conditions.
  • Certain events may require:
    • a valid user account,
    • prior registration,
    • a technical identifier (e.g., UUID),
    • validation via a whitelist.

The organizer reserves the right to refuse access in case of non-compliance with these conditions.


6. TECHNICAL CONDITIONS

The participant is responsible for:

  • their equipment,
  • their internet connection,
  • the compatibility of their hardware and software.

No guarantee is provided regarding individual technical performance.


7. MINORS

  • Certain events are accessible to minors.
  • Participation by a minor requires authorization from a legal guardian.
  • The legal guardian accepts the GTCP on behalf of the minor.
  • Moderation, safety, and supervision measures may be implemented depending on the event.

8. CONDUCT AND RULES OF BEHAVIOR

Each participant agrees to:

  • adopt respectful behavior,
  • respect other participants, artists, teams, and moderators,
  • not disrupt the event or the collective experience,
  • comply with the specific rules communicated for each event.

Any breach may result in:

  • immediate exclusion,
  • suspension or withdrawal of access,
  • without refund or compensation.

9. IMAGE, RECORDING, AND BROADCASTING

Events may be subject to:

  • audio and video recordings,
  • live or delayed broadcasts,
  • digital representations (avatars, usernames, interactions).

By participating, attendees:

  • accept the possibility of being recorded or represented,
  • authorize the use of such content for cultural, artistic, educational, or documentary purposes,
  • without individual commercial use or financial claim.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content related to the events is protected by copyright and related rights.

Without written authorization, it is strictly prohibited to:

  • record,
  • reproduce,
  • rebroadcast,
  • extract or commercially exploit any content.

11. LIABILITY

The organizer cannot be held liable for:

  • technical incidents beyond its control,
  • interruptions caused by third-party service providers,
  • personal use of participants’ equipment or accounts.

12. MODIFICATION – CANCELLATION – FORCE MAJEURE

The organizer reserves the right to:

  • modify the content or format of an event,
  • postpone it,
  • adapt it,
  • or cancel it,

in the event of force majeure or technical, artistic, health, or security constraints.


13. PERSONAL DATA

The data collected is used exclusively for:

  • managing registrations,
  • securing access,
  • communication related to events.

No data is sold, rented, or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.


14. APPLICABLE LAW

These GTCP are governed by Swiss law, without prejudice to any local provisions applicable depending on the location of the event.

13. PERSONAL DATA & DATA MANAGEMENT

As part of registration and participation in events organized by LOLS – Life on Line Sphere · The Cloud, certain personal data may be collected, including:

email address, username, technical identifiers (e.g., UUID), and information required for access management and security.


13.1 Use of data

The collected data is used exclusively for the following purposes:

  • management of event registrations and participation,
  • access security (whitelists, technical controls),
  • communication related to the ongoing event,
  • additional information related to the event (access, changes, content),
  • pre-registration on whitelists for access to future events,
  • sending information about upcoming events and, where applicable, a newsletter.

No data is sold, rented, or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.


13.2 Post-event email & right of choice

After each event, a follow-up email may be sent to participants in order to:

  • collect a satisfaction evaluation (feedback),
  • explicitly ask whether the participant wishes:
    • their data to be retained in our databases,
    • or permanently deleted.

The participant’s expressed choice is respected without condition.


13.3 Data retention or deletion

Participants have the following rights at any time:

  • right of access to their data,
  • right to rectification,
  • right to erasure,
  • right to withdraw consent.

In the absence of explicit consent for data retention, the data will be deleted within a reasonable period, in accordance with applicable regulations.


13.4 Regulatory compliance

Data management is carried out in compliance with:

  • the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR),
  • and applicable data protection laws.
